Grand Hyatt Dubai Welcomes New Executive Assistant Sales Head
Grand Hyatt Dubai has promoted Malek Safa to the role of executive assistant manager sales and marketing.
In his new role, he will be in charge of the entire sales, events, revenue and marketing departments of the hotel along with other general operations and report directly to general manager, Fathi Khogaly.
In 2002, Safa joined Grand Hyatt Dubai as an events sales executive and was later promoted to director of events sales. He moved to Hyatt Regency Toronto in 2010 as a senior catering and conventions manager. He came back to Dubai and joined Hyatt Regency Dubai as a director of convention sales on August 1, 2014 and later took charge of the team of sales and events, as director of sales and marketing on June 01, 2015.
Safa was then transferred to Grand Hyatt Dubai as director of sales and marketing on May 15, 2016 and since then he has been leading the sales and events team.
