FAB Celebrates UAE Flag Day

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the UAE’s largest bank and one of the world’s safest and largest financial institutions, joined Flag Day celebrations by raising the UAE flag at the bank’s headquarters in Khalifa Business Park, Abu Dhabi, today. The celebration was attended by FAB’s senior management and employees.

Commenting on this important national occasion, Abdulhamid Saeed, Group Chief Executive Officer at FAB said: “We would like to congratulate the UAE’s President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, their brothers the rulers of the Emirates and Crown Princes, and the people of the UAE.”

He added: “Flag Day is a key celebration for us all in the UAE, as it represents the values of unity which our country was built on and embodies the sense of national pride and belonging amongst the UAE’s people. On this occasion, we are honoured to have this opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the UAE’s founding fathers, leaders, citizens and residents.
