EQUATE wins Middle East’s Plant of the year 2011 Award Continuing its pioneering industrial role

EQUATE Petrochemical Company earned the Middle East Chemical Week’s "Plant of the Year 2011 Award” organized by Petchem Arabia and the UK-based World Refining Association.
This award was granted to EQUATE in recognition for its world-class operational excellence and exemplary environmental contributions. This is an excellent recognition of EQUATE’s safe and reliable operations, as well as its environmental contribution.
On this occasion, EQUATE President & CEO Hamad Al-Terkait said, “To achieve Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) excellence, EQUATE has developed its own set of relevant programs, objectives and goals which are regularly tracked and reported. These programs are not only related to business efficiency, they are also relevant to the employees and the community’s overall health, safety and pollution prevention, as well as preserving valuable natural resources.”
