Epicor appoints new Senior Vice President and General Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa

Epicor Software Corporation, a global leader in business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations, today announced the appointment of Keith Deane as senior vice president and general manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective immediately. Reporting to Epicor President and Chief Executive Officer Pervez Qureshi, Deane will lead operations in EMEA including all sales, services, support and marketing across the region. He is based at the Company’s regional headquarters for EMEA in the United Kingdom.

In this new role, Deane will be focused on revenue growth and expanding the market for Epicor enterprise resourcing planning (ERP) solutions throughout the region. A proven leader, Deane brings more than 20 years of sales, operations and software industry experience to Epicor, having worked for leading ERP, SaaS, e-commerce, middleware, infrastructure, process management and business intelligence software providers during his career. Under Deane’s leadership as the head of EMEA operations at Infor, revenue more than quadrupled in the region.

Prior to joining Epicor, Deane served as Vice President and General Manager, International with Iron Mountain Digital, which was acquired by Autonomy, now an HP company.  From 2009 to 2012, he served in a board of director/chairman role for a UK-based provider of managed software as a service (SaaS) solutions for B2B e-commerce.  As President, EMEA at Infor from 2005 to 2009, Deane was instrumental in its growth to become the third largest provider of business software.

Preceding 2005, Deane held Vice President, Senior Vice President and General Manager, EMEA positions with the following companies: WebMethods, a leading supplier of business integration and infrastructure software; and BEA Systems, provider of enterprise infrastructure software.
