ENOC Aviation, the aviation business of Emirates National Oil Company, a wholly-owned entity of Dubai Government, will highlight its growing competencies globally in the supply of high quality jet fuel that meets industry specifications and as per agreed time schedules, at the upcoming Dubai Airshow 2013.

With a strong footprint across 90 airports in nine countries, ENOC Aviation is the leading provider of jet fuel for primary international carriers in Dubai. The upcoming opening in Jebel Ali of a new oil terminal by Horizon Terminals Limited, a business of ENOC, will further strengthen ENOC Aviation’s distribution capacity.

ENOC Aviation has been participating in Dubai Airshow since the inception of the Middle East’s primary aerospace event. This year, the company will specifically underline its growing global and regional partnerships, particularly with the opening of the passenger terminal of Al Maktoum International Airport, as Dubai International Airports are set to welcome record passenger traffic.

Zaid Alqufaidi, Managing Director, ENOC Marketing, said: “The Dubai Airshow is a key industry platform, where we will highlight our growing strength in the jet fuel business. Over the years, we have continuously enhanced our partnerships with global carriers and airports. We are committed to the highest standards of quality and operational excellence, which we will underline at the premier event.”

Farid Al Bastaki, Sr. Manager, Aviation Fuel Marketing, added: “The aviation sector of the region is witnessing phenomenal growth with massive investments in aircraft and new airport infrastructure. Through our central location in Dubai, which is one of the world’s fastest growing aviation hubs, we can serve the fuel requirements of all leading airlines. The Dubai Airshow provides us the ideal opportunity to network with industry stakeholders from across the world.”

A member of the Joint Inspection Group (JIG), ENOC Aviation is today the largest jet fuel supplier at Dubai International Airport, and supplies over 2.3 million USGs of jet fuel through 300 fuelings daily. It manages fuel farms and hydrants on behalf of the industry at both airports in Dubai. ENOC Aviation has the largest into-plane operation in the Middle East, which are certified to ISO 9001; ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001.

The winners of the ‘Best Jet Fuel Marketer’ in the Africa and Middle East region for the fifth consecutive year at the Armbrust Aviation Awards, ENOC Aviation is a leading supplier of quality products for both the commercial and military sectors. The company provides different categories of quality aviation fuel including aviation turbine fuel (Jet A-1) and the military specified JP8, and aviation gasoline (AVGAS).

Customer focus and service, the company's hallmarks, are embodied in its refuelling equipment design, information technology, customer care, quality, safety and environmental protection systems. A registered fuel services supplier in the IATA partnership programme, ENOC Aviation is actively pursuing international opportunities.

ENOC Aviation also offers a wide range of commercial services including market studies for aviation fuel projects, logistics surveys and assistance in marketing fuel. The technical services provided include consultancy on operations, environmental, health and safety issues, and overseeing the development and updating of aviation quality control and aviation operations manuals, among others.

A wide range of fuel management services are also provided including preparation of business development programmes and strategic planning, and implementation of operational procedures.

Horizon Terminals Limited is on schedule with the construction of the new oil terminal in Jebel Ali, with a storage capacity of over 141,000 cubic metres, which will boost ENOC Aviation’s capabilities. The project also features a 60 kilometre 16” jet fuel pipeline that links the terminal directly to the Dubai International Airport, and other advanced facilities. It will also have a branch-off connection to the Al Maktoum International Airport.
