The management team of Emirates Grand Hotel, the 50-storey tall tower conveniently located along Sheikh Zayed Road, recently held a charity initiative of distributing free iftar packs of food and beverages to taxi drivers as they drove through the main entrance of the hotel while dropping off and picking up guests.

The team headed by Nasser Shams, Director Sales & Marketing, Emirates Grand Hotel handed the iftar packs to the drivers who greatly appreciated the gesture in keeping with the true spirit of Ramadan. Each pack contained juice, dates, sweets, main course and water.

He said: “The main purpose of this initiative is to share the good fortune and success that we received. We decided to distribute free iftar packs to the cab drivers so they can break their fast while doing their duties. We are very pleased with the outcome of this initiative and we look forward to repeating it again next year!”
