Emarat Launches its Twitter Account

Emirates General Petroluem Corporation "Emarat" has launched its own account on the most famous social network "Twitter", aiming at communicating better with its customers and partners, in addition to broadcasting the Corporation's news, initiatives, projects, services, its latest products, campaigns and trademarks.
Mr. Hussain Kazim, Manager, Corporate Communications at Emarat, said that Twitter has become one of the most popular social networks in the world, as hundreds of millions use it. Twitter also is positively regarded by many media and internet companies, for its great marketing and promotions opportunities which allow the uploading of different documents, written, audio or visual, making them available to everyone, at any time or in any place.
Mr. Kazim further said that Emarat sees Twitter as an important tool that can be used to promote the Corporation's services, programs and news, in addition to its trademarks such as "Bakeria" for fresh and light snacks, "Fasttrack" centers for vehicles’ maintenance and repair. He clarified that two separate accounts were launched for these two trademarks on twitter, to promote their latest campaigns and promotions.
All internet users can now follow the Corporation's account on @EmaratPetroleum, and they can access "Bakeria's" account on "@bakeria", and Fasttrack's account on @EmaratFasttrack.
