Dubai Properties Group promotes responsible living at its communities

Dubai Properties Group (DPG), a member of Dubai Holding, has been actively promoting responsible living at its various communities through tie ups with government agencies, or self-driven events and programmes.
All the events have been supported by DPG as part of its commitment to adding value to the communities it develops.
In partnership with DEWA, a road show was organised at the Layan and Al Khail Gate communities to increase awareness of the importance of energy and water conservation.
At the Nuzul staff accommodation, DPG partnered with the Ministry of Labour and its subsidiary Tasheel to host a cricket match between Nuzul residents in celebration of Labour Day.
In addition, a Ramadan Cultural Tent was erected at Shorooq, Layan and Al Khail Gate to allow residents to experience the UAE’s culture and traditions.
Other events have included a Green Day at Shorooq and a free health camp for Nuzul staff.
Khalid Al Malik, Group Chief Executive Officer, DPG, said: “We are constantly developing new and innovative ways to support our communities. Responsible living is a vital component of this programme and we are committed to providing information and support to our residents to enhance the quality of their lives.”
DPG launched its corporate responsibility theme under the vision of promoting responsible living. This facilitates various programs, events and joint initiatives with authorities and non profit organizations in an attempt to give back to the community to promote different aspects of living responsibly.
