Dubai Properties Group celebrates the 40th Anniversary of The UAE National Day at its Communities

Dubai Properties Group (DPG), a member of Dubai Holding, today announced that it is celebrating the 40^th Anniversary of The UAE National Day with special events at DPG communities throughout Dubai.

The initiative kicked off at the Al Khail Gate development on 25 November from 3:00pm – 6:00pm. The Shorooq Mirdif community was the next destination on 27 November, to be followed by Layan on 29 November.

Each of the events features a tent themed to showcase the UAE’s heritage and culture through a number of traditional activities presented by Emiratis, from the Hatta Society for Culture and Folklore. Residents are welcomed to each event by a traditional Emirati troupe of dancers and they can sample Arabic coffee, dates and local delicacies and watch demonstrations of henna hand painting. The events culminate in a parade throughout each community.
