Dubai Chamber continues its support to Dubai International Holy Quran Award
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry is once again the venue for the Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) competition and awards ceremony held under the patronage of its founder H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
The event is hosted as part of Dubai Chamber’s commitment to the community. It also comes in line with the Chamber’s efforts in supporting and showing Dubai’s Islamic and cultural identity to the world.
H.E. Hamad Buamim, Director General, Dubai Chamber, said: “The award has grown remarkably over the years. Its success is attracting more international participation and drawing world attention to its cause of spreading the message and importance of the memorisation of the Holy Quran by the youngsters. We are glad that we have been involved with the hosting of the award since its early days.
“On its part, the award helps enhance Dubai’s cosmopolitan profile on the local and international arena and brings in good name for the emirate as a melting pot of culture where over 200 nationalities work and live in harmony,” added Buamim.
Dubai Chamber is also hosting and fully supporting an Islamic lecture in Arabic for men by Sheikh Sulaiman Al-Jubailan on Monday, July 23 at 10-15pm in its auditorium.
