du University congratulates over 150 graduates at its 5th graduation ceremony

du University held its 5th graduation ceremony by celebrating over 150 graduates during an event held at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University Campus. The certificates were awarded by du executive management  including Fahad Al Hassawi, Chief Commercial Officer; Amr Kazim, Chief Financial Officer; and Ibrahim Nasser, Chief Human Capital and Administration Officer.

These graduates included, 35 from the School of Leadership, 35 from the Enterprise Business Academy and 50 from the Consumer Business Academy. In addition, employees also graduated from Operational and Technical Learning and ‘Learning Pathways’ (du University's collaborative learning).

Key note speaker, Fahad Al Hassawi shared his journey to success with graduates and inspired them on how to make choices in their lives that really matter.

Speaking about the success of the du University platform, Ibrahim Nassir, said: “At du, developing our employees is a priority – through du University we build capability and empower our colleagues to perform better every day. du University plays an important role in enriching our people’s knowledge and skills.”

Ali Al Mansoori, Vice President Human Capital Development at du, reemphasized the importance of continued learning and mentioned graduation as a milestone stating that ‘learning is a journey rather than a destination’.

Over 2,400 people from du and its partners have attended du University since its launch in February 2015. du University is now targeting customer experience behavioral development in order to support du’s customer experience journey.
