du’s Emiratisation efforts receives recognitions from leading UAE establishments

du’s human resources team has received recognition from two UAE institutions, The National Human Resources Development and Employment Authority and Dubai Women’s College. The accolades praised the telecommunications company’s efforts towards the UAE leadership’s vision of Emiratisation.

The National Human Resources Development and Employment Authority honoured du at a ceremony held in World Theatre, Global Village, on December 8, during the launch of the Authority’s ‘We are all Emirates’ campaign. The recognition was rewarded following the company’s recent initiative of establishing a fully Emirati-managed and operated Customer Care Centre in Fujairah.

In parallel, Dubai Women’s College selected du as ‘Employer of the Year’ in the semi-government organisations category, in light of the telecom’s programmes aimed at providing training and careers to UAE Nationals. The honour was bestowed upon du during a ceremony held recently.

Jamal Lootah, Senior Director – National Recruitment and Development, du, received both recognitions on behalf of du.
