DQG and Ideas Arabia Honour Dubai Customs for Sponsoring World Ideas Award 2018

Dubai Customs has won the best idea at the World Ideas Award 2016 organised in Frankfurt, Germany for developing an android robot inspector.

Dubai Quality Group and Ideas Arabia honoured Dubai Customs as the main sponsor of Ideas Arabia International Conference & Competition 2018, and the exclusive sponsor of Ideas Arabia Awards in its second which is held for the first time in the UAE.

Dubai Customs has won the best idea at the World Ideas Award 2016 organised in Frankfurt, Germany for developing an android robot inspector.

It is a smart robot that is capable of doing inspection tasks and can be equipped with inspection and tracking technologies to carry out additional functions such as face identification, body language reading, luggage tracking, and thermal scanning.

The event was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group and Honorary Patron of Dubai Quality Group.

Inspired by the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, the conference this year engaged business talents and explored innovative ways of utilizing their talents to serve the private and public sectors.

Farid Hassan Al Marzouqi, Executive Director, Human Resources, Finance and Administration Division in Dubai Customs received the award from Dubai Qualtiy Group.
