Downtown Rotana staff participate in blood donation drive

Staff of Downtown Rotana, the newly opened luxury hotel in the heart of Manama, participated in a blood donation drive held at the hotel’s premises, in cooperation with the Salmaniya Hospital of Bahrain.

Spearheaded by Downtown Rotana’s HR Department in an effort to support the Hospital’s needs, and help raise awareness about the significance of blood donations to the community, over 50 Downtown Rotana employees volunteered to support the cause and give blood. Snacks and refreshments were provided to all those who made time to support this activity.

Lilian Roger, General Manager of Downtown Rotana, said: “We are happy to have participated in this community initiative and truly appreciate the support and proactivity of our staff who not only organized this initiative but actively contributed as well. We feel it is our duty to help activities that promote a healthier, happier community.”
