DEWA organises Find MyDEWAIdeas Station campaign to promote creative ideas of staff and customers

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has organised a weeklong Find MyDEWAIdeas Station campaign to promote the creative ideas of its staff and customers across its centres. The campaign supports DEWA’s strategy to enhance and develop the work environment and engage customers and staff in providing constructive ideas and suggestions that contribute to creating an ideal work environment and further improve DEWA’s services.
“The vision and objectives this campaign supports the National Innovation Strategy, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make the UAE one of the most innovative countries in the world. It also establishes Dubai’s position as a global hub for innovation and creativity, and the happiest city on earth, which provides the most efficient and seamless experience and is the safest place for residents and visitors,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA.
The campaign, which was organised from 9am–12pm, engaged DEWA staff in innovating creative ideas as an established approach across all DEWA’s divisions and departments.
The campaign comprised several activities, including finding the tent where the MyDEWAIdeas Station is installed in DEWA’s centres, and submitting on-spot ideas and suggestions using iPads installed in the stations. DEWA presented complimentary gifts to the campaign participants, which saw a remarkable turnout. All suggestions and ideas are now being reviewed to make use of them.
