DAMAC supports “Thanks to The Maker of Generations” event that targets to honour their Highnesses’ – the wives of the rulers of UAE

Luxury real estate developer DAMAC Properties has announced its support of the event “Thanks to The Maker of Generations” that is targeting to honour their Highnesses’ – the wives of the rulers of UAE for their active and productive contribution in several economic, social, and educational fields within the UAE and around the world.
The event will be attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan and will honour, in addition to their Highnesses’, several other UAE women for their achievements on governmental and private levels. Hundreds of public figures and representatives of governmental and humanitarian organisations will attend the event from throughout the region.
Mr. Hussein Ragab, CEO of Dar Al Asalah Media Group, from the organising committee said: The main objective of “Thanks to The Maker of Generations” event is to honour their Highnesses’- the wives of the rulers of UAE and to highlight the extremely important role of women in local society. The mother, the soldier, the humanitarian worker, the banker, the public or private sector employee, and many other women who have all helped to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our society and our country.”

This second edition of the event will be held in Abu Dhabi on the 20th of March under the patronage of Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Centre (ADSIC) and in support of Emirates Human Rights Association, the Department of Finance-Government of Ras Al Khaimah and DEWA.
As of December 31st 2014, DAMAC Properties has delivered almost 13,000 homes and has a development portfolio of over 38,000 units at various stages of progress and planning. Included are more than 10,000 hotel rooms and serviced hotel apartments under development, which will be managed by its hospitality arm, DAMAC Hotels & Resorts.
