CTA announces the Winners for Toyota’s Dream Car Art Local Contest in the Kingdom

Central Trade and Auto Company (CTA), the exclusive dealer for Toyota vehicles in the Kingdom, announced the names of winners within the national level of  the 8th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest. The children that had passed this phase have also been qualified to take part in the global 2014 contest set to be held in Japan later this year, not to mention a chance for winning a trip with their parents to visit Toyota’s headquarters in Japan. CTA’s hosting of this contest in Jordan follows the great success it has seen in the event’s 2012 6th edition, which saw a winner from Jordan.

On this occasion, CTA held an honorary ceremony in its Mecca Street showroom, recognizing the children with the most original and creative drawing within each of the contest’s category. Winners of the under 8 years category were announced to be Fares Alqudah, Christina Wahhab, and Masa Mazayek, and in the 9-11 years category, the winners were announced to be; Labib Zabaneh, Maya Hamarneh, and Elena Manneh. Finally, in the 12-15 years category, the winners were Hala Zoubaie, Maria Akkawi, and Karim Musallam. The competition also witnessed the participation of numerous public and private schools in the Kingdom, with the winning schools being National Orthodox School, Al-Manhal Schools, The Ahliyyah School for Girls (A.S.G.), and Modern Montessori school (M.M.S).

The ceremony was attended by CTA’s General Manager, Mr. George Haddad in addition to several members of CTA’s management and employees, the winning children and their parents, as well as few representatives from the participating schools. Winners were awarded with certificates and valuable prizes ranging from laptops, to iPod Shuffles, to digital cameras, in appreciation of their efforts and encouragement of their talents.

 “We are keen in contributing to the elevation of our children’s artistic talents, developing their creative and intellectual skills, as well as providing the opportunity for them to compete in a global competition and excel in a challenge. We wish them the best of luck in the contest’s final stage,” commented Nadim Haddad, Marketing Manager at CTA.

The contest which was open to all schools’ students and children under the age of fifteen in the Kingdom, aimed to showcase the artistic talents and imaginations in drawing the car of the future among the participants.
