CTA unveils the Toyota Hilux 2012 with a fresh new look

Central Trade and Auto Company (CTA), the exclusive dealer for Toyota, Lexus and Hino in the Kingdom, recently unveiled the new Toyota Hilux 2012 with a fresh innovative design and a number of additional features. 

Buyers have a choice of three body styles, a single cabin model with two-wheel drive, and a double cabin model with two- and four-wheel drive options. All are now available at CTA showrooms. The revised Hilux model retains its popular interior, while adding a number of mechanical and engine improvements. The 2.5-litre turbo engine now produces a peak power of 105 horse power, while the new diesel engine - based on the Common Rail System - guarantees strength and durability. Although the power of the vehicle has increased, the new Hilux has been remade into a more eco-friendly vehicle. The vehicle combines reduced fuel consumption with lower CO2 emissions, generating less noise pollution as an added bonus.

“We are constantly working to offer new options to the Jordanian consumer by providing a diverse array of vehicles to choose from that cater to any preference or need. The Hilux commands the highest market share in the light-truck category in the Kingdom, and we are determined to keep it that way,” commented Nadim Haddad, the Marketing Manager at CTA.

Making the new Hilux available at its showrooms, CTA intends to attract a new customer base. This will serve to reinforce CTA’s position in the Jordanian automotive market, given that the Hilux models now represent 50% of the Jordanian light-trucks on the road.

CTA has an established presence in the Jordanian auto market, providing high-end vehicles from Toyota, Lexus, and Hino in the Kingdom. Recently, CTA has elevated its position by becoming a leading importer of hybrid vehicles in Jordan.
