CTA Lexus hosts concert by Pianist Tarek Younis

Central Trade and Auto Company (CTA), the exclusive dealer for Lexus vehicles in the Kingdom, recently supported Jordanian Composer and Pianist Tarek Younis in his latest concert hosted at its Mecca Street showroom on April 25^th, 2014.   

“Our support for this event falls in-line with our extensive CSR strategy, and the special interest we place on music and arts,” said CTA’s Marketing Manager Mr. Nadim Haddad, ”we are always keen to support local talents through enabling those exceptional individuals to introduce fellow community members to elevated forms of art. We believe that the cultural aspects of life elevate levels of development in any community. By introducing the youth to this field, we are also granting them the opportunity to gain a new perspective on life and entertainment, and by supporting young talents, we are doing our part to place Jordan on the international map of culture, while making these individuals shine.”

Mr. Haddad further added that CTA had supported numerous artists over the years, believing that its role goes far beyond fueling the market with Lexus vehicles and introducing fans to the design ingenuity, strength, luxury, and power the Lexus is all about. Its role also involves contributing to community and cultural development, and this understanding has inspired CTA to support many cultural events, and artistic individuals. It had also supported the Bands Across Borders concert, which is the larger cultural musical event of its kind in the Arab world.

Tarek Younis was educated by Rula Nabil in Jordan, whereby he received an education scholarship to study music, and obtained a certificate in music composition from the Trinity Laban conservatoire of music in 2001. He also received another certificate from the Faculty of Eastern African Studies from London College in 2002, and he currently works in the field of music composition and training in Jordan.
