Central Trade and Auto Company (CTA), the exclusive dealer for Hino vehicles in the Kingdom, recently hosted the Arab Technical Group (ATG), the Irbid District Electricity Company, and Arab Potash Company within three training sessions on Economic Driving. More specifically, the sessions targeted the companies’ drivers who use Hino trucks in their respective lines of work, and were conducted by a specialist from Japan who had come to the MENA region specifically to conduct these sessions in Jordan and other neighboring countries.

CTA's Marketing Manager Mr. Nadim Haddad highlighted that such sessions reflect the company’s aims to offer its clients’ unmatched customer and after-sale services. Within this strategy the company organizes periodic training sessions as a means to maintain strong relations with clients who had made Hino trucks their vehicles of choice. Such endeavors enable CTA to maintain contact with clients, while also following up with them on the vehicles’ performances and any possible areas of concern.

Mr. Haddad further added that Hino’s role in the community is one that surpasses providing vehicles fitting for truck drivers’ needs, as Hino is also a proactive community partner concerned with developing human resources and conserving the environment. These training sessions served to introduce Hino truck drivers to the best driving practices, while also offering them insight on how to save on fuel consumption and to be more environmentally conscience on the road.

This endeavor has reaped positive outcomes, as truck drivers within the previously mentioned companies have been reported to consume less fuel while driving their Hino trucks.

Hino Motors Ltd. has been a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation since the year 1966, and was founded in the year 1910.
