Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa Hoists ‘Blue Flag’ on Its Beach

Given its environmental responsibility towards the local community and the area in which it operates, Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa, part of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), has recently been awarded the Blue Flag certification. The award is given by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, on an annual basis to FEE member beaches and marinas. The Blue Flag was raised on the resort's beach as an indication of its adherence to high international quality, safety and environment standards.

The Blue Flag certification is awarded to beaches and marinas around the world that meet its stringent standards. These include: Water quality, environmental education and information, the provision of services and general environmental management, and safety. Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa was awarded this prestigious accolade in light of its commitment to all four criteria.
