Cadillac Previews Exclusive Magnesium Wheels on V-Series Blackwing
Cadillac teased one of the first uncamouflaged, exterior images of the V-Series
Blackwing vehicles, showcasing a tight shot of the cars’ exclusive magnesium wheels. These vehicles will be the only GM products to offer magnesium wheels in the near future.
The wheels shown in the image will be optional on the 2022 CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V
Blackwing.
Inspired by the championship winning Cadillac DPi-V.R race car, magnesium
wheels help reduce the unsprung weight of the vehicle, improving ride and handling, and
thereby, the overall driver experience. Magnesium has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of all commonly available metals, according to MagnesiumWheels.com.
The CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing will be available 1 starting at the end of 2021.

Background Information
Cadillac
Cadillac is a luxury vehicle marque owned by General Motors. Cadillac vehicles are sold in over 50 countries and territories, but mainly in North America. Cadillac is currently the second oldest American automobile manufacturer behind Buick and among the oldest automobile brands in the world.
Cadillac was born in 1902. Its founder, Henry Leland, a master mechanic and entrepreneur, named the company after his ancestor, Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac, the founder of Detroit. It was purchased in 1909 by General Motors and within six years, Cadillac laid the foundation for the modern mass production of automobiles by demonstrating the complete interchangeability of its precision parts, also establishing itself as America's premier luxury car.
