Burgan Bank Participates in the Second Watheefti National Career Fair

Building on its comprehensive strategy for human capital development, Burgan Bank announced its participation in the upcoming Watheefti event, Kuwait’s largest employment fair, set to take place on October 19-21 at The Arena Kuwait – 360 Mall, with the participation of over 100 companies. Burgan Bank’s renewed participation in Watheefti comes to reaffirm its steadfast commitment to the development of Kuwait’s national talents.

Commenting on the Bank’s upcoming presence at Watheefti, Mr. Abdulwahab Abdulraheem, Executive Manager – Talent Acquisition Human Resources and Development at Burgan Bank, said: “We are delighted to be part of Watheefti in its second edition among some of Kuwait’s top employers. In Kuwait, it is essential to have events of this magnitude, like Watheefti, that enable employers to find suitable talents who are capable of contributing to this success and that open a window of opportunities for aspiring job seekers.”

In its first edition, Watheefti career fair attracted 32,000 registrations – 19,520 of whom attended the event over a span of three days. Among the event attendees were employed talents seeking other opportunities, graduates preparing to join the workforce, as well as undergraduate and high school students looking to build up their skills through internship opportunities. In addition to the employers’ booths, Watheefti also introduced a number of workshops that allowed employers to share their expertise with the event attendees.
