Burgan Bank sponsors British education exhibition

Burgan Bank has sponsored the British Council’s annual Education UK Exhibition (EDUKEX), which took place at the Sheraton Hotel Kuwait on 7th-8th November. The event was held to promote university education in the UK. , 42 British educational institutions were present to help potential students understand what is offered in their academic programs.
EDUKEX is part of the British Council’s initiative to enhance cultural and educational relations between Kuwait and the UK. The initiative provides students with the chance to learn more about education opportunities in the UK. Students receive personal advice on study options, qualifications, institutions, entry requirements, visas and travel.
During the event, Burgan Bank’s team members were present to help showcase the bank’s products and services. Attendees at the event were given details of Burgan Bank’s new multi-currency X-change card, which is ideal for students studying abroad. The new card provides an easy and cost-effective method for parents to transfer funds to their children studying abroad and has been designed for use with all major currencies.
A selection of the top currencies is given to customers when using the card, which includes US dollars, Euro, British Pound, Saudi Riyal, UAE Dirhams, Egyptian Pound as well as the Filipino Peso. The card retains the value of the exchange rate at which it was bought to enable customers to capitalize on their preferred currency rates. Customers can apply online through the banks website to get the card. Cardholders wishing to reload their X-Change cards can do so online or at any of the bank’s branches and ATMs.
