Boursa Kuwait empowers 931 students in financial literacy and entrepreneurship in collaboration with INJAZ
Driven by its belief that building more sustainable financial markets begins with investing in education, Boursa Kuwait concluded its strategic partnership with INJAZ Kuwait for the academic year 2025/2026, empowering 931 male and female students from middle and high school through four specialized programs in financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
The partnership was from December 2025 to July 2026, covering 18 educational institutions across Kuwait, with the initiative surpassing its target at a completion rate of 116%, and reflecting Boursa Kuwait's continued commitment to its social responsibility and role in promoting financial awareness, contributing to the preparation of a generation capable of making informed financial decisions and actively contributing to the national economy.
Interactive educational initiatives to promote economic literacy and investment
The Financial Awareness Program is among the educational initiatives offered by the non-profit INJAZ Kuwait, aimed at equipping students with knowledge and practical skills in money management, investment and entrepreneurship through interactive programs that combine theoretical learning with hands-on application. The programs, which aim to connect students to real-world practices in finance and entrepreneurship, were designed to suit different age groups, with the participation of private sector volunteers. They included:
"My Money and My Future": Benefiting 176 middle school students, the program introduced participants to financial literacy concepts, money management and an understanding of global market mechanisms through practical activities that develop economic decision-making skills.
"I Am an Entrepreneur": Attracting the largest number of participants at 324 middle school students, the program provided a hands-on entrepreneurship experience, from developing ideas and products through to preparing investment pitches that simulate a real financial market environment.
"Personal Finance": The program focused on building financial planning skills through concepts of saving, budgeting, credit management and sound financial decision-making as fundamental pillars of sustainable financial awareness for 266 students across high schools and universities.
"The Company": Offering 165 high school and university students the opportunity to establish and manage virtual companies under the supervision of private sector mentors, the program also develops students’ competitive skills and allows them to participate in the regional INJAZ Arab competition and represent Kuwait.
