Bab Al Qasr Hotel will join the world to switch off its lights and pay tribute to the annual Earth Hour Movement on 24 March, 2018.

From 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm on Saturday, the hotel’s signature arch lights, garden, lobby, chandelier, outdoor and restaurants’ lights will be turned off as an act of involvement to the worldwide simultaneous environmental movement. The lobby, grand staircase, and F&B outlets will in turn be illuminated with candles to form an inspiring ambience. The hotel team will gather together to form the Earth Hour logo created from candles in the hotel lobby to show Bab Al Qasr Hotel’s maiden participation in this environmental campaign.

To further give significance to their support in environmental sustainability, Bab Al Qasr Hotel will use charcoal for all its live cooking stations at its iconic Brunch on this notable day.

Regarding Earth Hour and the hotel’s participation, the Director of Protocol, Murshed Al Shamsi said, “Bab Al Qasr Hotel and green technology go hand in hand. It is our humble duty to spread environmental awareness wherever we are and among our team and guests. This is part of our mission as the Bab Al Qasr family. We are delighted to join the world for a noble cause and we hope to spread awareness and make a difference in our own way.”

Bab Al Qasr Hotel & Residences

5-Star Abu Dhabi hotel with Arabian elegance

A beautiful location on a private beach along the Abu Dhabi Corniche overlooking the stunning UAE's landmark, Presidential Palace, is just one of the highlights at the 5 star Bab Al Qasr Hotel & Residences. In addition, imposing architecture and Arabesque interiors complement the magnificent setting where luxury and contemporary comforts reign.

Bab Al Qasr means "gateway to the palace" and the statement Arabic doorway feature of this gleaming copper-tone hotel is just one architectural nod to its heritage.  Numerous elements combine to reflect the essence of Arabia – including accents reminiscent of Bedouin tents and the interlaced geometric designs of Islamic art, as well as a welcoming oasis in the luxurious lobby with palms and a falaj-like water feature.
