Audi Oman and the Oman Diplomatic Club collaborate to promote community engagement through sport

Audi Oman recently sponsored a successful tennis tournament at the Oman Diplomatic Club during the Holy month of Ramadan; which is now being followed by a Nations Cup tennis tournament that will continue into June.
The Ramadan tournament, which ran from March 26th to April 16th, featured enthusiastic tennis players of different levels from the local community. Around 50 participants competed in men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, and men's consolation categories.
"We are proud to have been a part of the Oman Diplomatic Club's Ramadan Tennis Tournament," said Mr. Christian Nehme, General Manager of Premium Motors. "By sponsoring such sports events, we aim to promote a healthy lifestyle and engage with the community, while raising brand awareness. The tournament was aligned with Audi Oman's values and objectives, and the club's location was a great opportunity for the brand to attract new customers. Audi Oman played a key role in the tournament's success by supporting the Oman Diplomatic Club in organising the event."
"We appreciate the participants, sponsors, and spectators who made this tournament possible, and we hope to collaborate with Audi Oman on future community events," said John Fannin, Manager of Oman Diplomatic Club.
The tournament had some thrilling matches across all categories, with intense competition from the participants. In the Men's Consolation category, Sandeep emerged as the winner, while Ratish was the runner-up. Jacqueline was crowned the winner of the Ladies Singles category, with Petra as the runner-up. In the Men's Doubles category, Khalid and Qalmas proved to be the best team and took home the trophy, while Abdulah and Warith were the runners-up. Finally, in the highly competitive Men's Singles category, Warith emerged as the champion, with Khalid as the runner-up. All winners and runners-up displayed impressive skills and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, and their achievements are a testament to their hard work and dedication to the sport.
The tournament was well-received by the community, and the participants, fans, and supporters felt its impact. "We thank everyone who participated in and supported the tournament, and we hope to continue promoting sports and healthier lifestyles through events like this," added John Fannin, Manager of the Oman Diplomatic Club.
"This month, we are hosting The Nations Cup sponsored by Audi Oman. Invitations have been sent to all accredited embassies in Oman for residents to take part and compete against each other in their country’s team. We believe that supporting community events like these is crucial in building a stronger and healthier community in Oman.”
