This partnership continues the fruitful cooperation between Aspetar and UEFA medical experts, which began in 2019 when Aspetar hosted the first joint workshop for team doctors from the Asian and European Champions Leagues. The workshop featured leading medical experts from European clubs and high-ranking officials from FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation.
Aspetar’s involvement reflects its unwavering commitment to advancing sports medicine in football and other sports globally, ultimately benefiting athlete care and performance.
The upcoming conference is expected to attract over 550 doctors and therapists from national teams and UEFA Champions League clubs, along with approximately 700 other experts in the field.
The ninth UEFA Medical Conference, held in collaboration with the European Club Association (ECA), will focus on the latest advancements in sports medicine for women’s football, in alignment with the theme of the 2025 UEFA Women’s European Championship.
