Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa heads to ITB Berlin 2012

A delegation from Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa is attending the International Tourism Bourse (ITB) 2012, the world's biggest travel and tourism exhibition, being held in Berlin from March 7 to 11, to touch base with travel agents and tour operators to deepen existing business relations and seek new partnership possibilities.
Habib Khan, General Manager, Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa, who heads the delegation, said: "We have been attending the ITB Berlin every year, it's the biggest and most effective trade fair for the industry that covers greatest spectrum and supports all type of travel and hospitality related activities. Hence, we can not afford to loose such opportunity irrespective of whether business is booming or busting. If booming then we ought to participate, appreciate and pay our respect to the supporters, if otherwise then it makes it even mandatory to go and seek help from the industry drivers."
During the five-day event, the delegation will learn about new trends, concepts and cooperation possibilities. One aspect of the event is the ITB Hospitality Day, where leading international hotel experts and CEOs debate on the latest trends and challenges facing the industry. Topics to be discussed include the power of brands (whether many different brands offer travellers a better service or whether they are simply clever marketing strategies); safety in hotels (how hotels can protect their guests in the event of unexpected political unrest, crises and bombings) and future workforce issues (what the hotel industry must undertake to keep its trainees and future workforce and what incentives the industry needs to offer young graduates).
Mr. Khan added: "It's important to support the destination and build confidence among the industry partners that we as operator and Destination Dubai as a whole are still buzzing and thriving on providing exceptional hospitality and travelling experience to the visitors. There had been enough negative media after the global crisis and economical slow down but our spirit is alive and we want to transmit positive message on such appropriate platform as ITB."
