RJ to operate Amman-Kuwait twice daily
In light of the high demand for traffic between Amman and Kuwait, Royal Jordanian will increase the frequency of its flights to the Kuwaiti capital, Kuwait, from 10 weekly flights to 14 (two daily flights) starting April 2014. This will then be further increased to three flights daily during the summer peak, starting June.
RJ’s Executive Assistant to the President Media and Communication/Spokesman Basel Kilani said the reason Kuwait is one of the most active stations on the RJ route network is that Kuwait is one of the major Gulf countries investing in Jordan and the cooperation between the two countries is strong. This has led to robust travel between the two countries by officials, businessmen, students and leisure-seeking individuals.
In light of the stability and security that Jordan enjoys, it has become a popular meeting country for Arabs, whether to reunite with families or for business-related meetings.
Kilani added that RJ provides a wide range of complimentary services and amenities for travelers, including ample leg room and generous food and beverage offerings. The A320 fleet operating to Kuwait also provides state-of-the art in-flight entertainment with audio-video on demand, giving passengers a great choice of viewing material.
According to Kilani, Royal Jordanian also provides an extensive travel network for passengers via Amman to Europe, the US and Canada, and North Africa.
