All-New Hyundai Sonata scoops win at first ever Arab Wheels Awards

The All-New Hyundai Sonata was recognised as the best midsized sedan at the gala event which was held as the trendy H Hotel in Dubai last week. The inaugural programme was established to recognise excellence in vehicle offering from the Middle East’s automotive industry.

The seventh-generation 2015 Sonata offers a more refined look through a new Fluidic Sculpture design language, stiffer body structure, enhanced ride quality, reduced noise, vibration and harshness and more convenience features. For a vehicle to be eligible for entry into the Arab Wheels awards programme, it must be an ‘all-new’ or ‘significantly face-lifted’ model that has been on sale for three months prior to the announcement of the nominated cars. The Arab Wheels awards are determined by 50 percent of the jury members’ votes, with the panel comprising distinguished automotive industry experts. The remaining 50 percent of the scoring is undertaken by readers’ choice via online voting.
