ALHOSN University students discuss UAE’s commercial growth at inaugural Young Business Leaders conference
ALHOSN University, a leading Abu Dhabi-based university dedicated to high-quality, value-based education, recently sent a select group of its undergraduate students to join discussions on the future of business in the UAE during the inaugural Young Business Leaders conference held at the Zayed University Dubai Convention Center.
The first event of its kind in the Middle East, the conference was organized by the Young Business Leaders (YBL) Group of Zayed University’s College of Business students to give a voice to the UAE’s aspiring young business protégés. Students from ALHOSN’s Business Department joined their peers from around the UAE in lively discussions and listened to research presentations from several participants.
ALHOSN University introduced attendees to its diverse academic programs developed in collaboration with leading North America educators. It also outlined its various activities aimed at fostering ‘local knowledge with global vision.’ The university announced plans to present research works in the next YBL conference as well.
“The YBL conference enabled our business students to interact with their peers and find out how they can work together for the betterment of their field and the UAE’s business environments in general. Next year we intend to share some of the research done by our junior and senior students and show ALHOSN’s unique approach to fostering the entrepreneurial spirit among youths,” said Prof. Ahmed Zohdi, Dean of the Faculty of Business, ALHOSN University.
