Al Bustan Centre and Residence, the popular hotel apartment among visiting tourists and businessmen in the heart of Dubai, recently carried out a law awareness program for the staff, in coordination with Dubai Police and Responsible Awareness Programs (RAP) Committee at Al Bustan Center & Residence, with an elaborated presentation carrying relevant facts and figures.

The program aims to educate all employees about the significant factors which an individual experiences on day to day basis whether at home, offices, schools, hospitals or walking on the streets. Law awareness makes the life of Dubai residents safe and secure and promotes social well being. The above was explained and stressed upon by Musa Guled, consultant and Sanria Khan, Consultant at Dubai Police Head Quarters. Harassment, bounced cheque, driving under the influence of alcohol consumption, drugs, discrimination, security and stealing were the important topics discussed during the session.

Moussa El Hayek, COO Al Bustan Centre and Residence, said: “Negligence and lack of awareness put many people into life threatening problems. Therefore, regular sessions and trainings on law awareness are helpful to work on precautionary measures against law breaking factors. I am extremely glad on the successful result of this law awareness campaign and we will continue to support such campaigns in future”.

The presentation also cited details regarding consequences of not following laws and regulations of UAE. In case of discrimination, everyone has the right to stand for this injustice that prevails in the society. Security is also an important ingredient to live in a successful society; one has to abide by the rules highlighted by authorities and learn to respect the law of the country.

Another important factor was drugs, inhaling the prohibited smokes. The offender could be sentenced to four years in prison, in case blood test reveals the traces of drug in the blood. Questions and Answers session was conducted at the end of the training to ensure the knowledge has been completely grasped by the audience.

The program provided helpful information and reinforced to the hotel staff of Al Bustan Centre and Residence to make better options in leading a secured and happy life.
