Agthia Group to be honored at 8th International Business Awards

Agthia Group is to be recognized as one of the nominated Company of the Year- Food & Beverage companies in the world at the 8^th Annual International Business Awards 2011 (IBA) to be held in Abu Dhabi, under the patronage of H.E. Sheikha Lubna Al Qassimi, UAE Minister for Foreign Trade.

Ilias Assimakopoulos, Chief Executive Officer of Agthia, is expected to receive the accolade at the Stevie Awards’ gala dinner on Tuesday October 11th at the Emirates Palace Hotel hosted in honor of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working people worldwide. Agthia Group is going to be acknowledged as a Distinguished Honoree in the Food & Beverage category.

Dubbed the ‘business world’s Oscars’, IBA is the only international, independent and all-encompassing business awards governed by a board of top executives, association leaders, business press, and business academics. With its introduction in 2003, it has recognized achievements in business around the globe from the boardroom to the mailroom.
