As Yas Marina Circuit opened its doors to fans, more than 500 students from the ADNOC Yas in Schools programme were on site for a special experience at this year’s #AbuDhabiGP weekend.

Beginning the day with an exclusive Pit Lane Walk tour before the event opened to the public, the students then lined up on the circuit’s iconic start line for a group photograph.

The young fans also got an up-close look at the F1 team garages and took part in The Daily Mile programme – a Ministry of Education initiative created in partnership with ADNOC to get young people aged 5-10 to walk more than one mile a day.

As part of the activation, the students walked around some of the 5.28km F1 circuit and took part in a short track tour around the iconic circuit.
