Abu Dhabi Municipality's Customer Service Processes 330 Thousand Transactions in Six Months
The Abu Dhabi City Municipality announced that the number of transactions executed through Customer Service Division since the beginning of 2017 and until the end of June had reached 332,138.
As many as 59 transactions were carried out through mobile services on vehicles offering all services except sale, purchase and mortgage services. The personnel tasked with verifying signatures travels to get transactions properly endorsed before they are finally completed at the Municipality’s head office in Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Street in Abu Dhabi. The customer service centre served clients while seated in their vehicles and ended the processing of 189 transactions.
The Municipality pointed out that the number of smart (digital) services currently on offer to customers through the single window app reached 15. These e-services include selling subsidised goods and land-related services (property certificate, land layout, search certificate, and title deed). Digital services also include fines payment, real estate regulation, and the booking of public facilities (parks, beaches, playgrounds).
The Municipality is keen to provide the best services to raise customers’ satisfaction and happiness and make constant endeavours to leverage its services and streamline procedures for customers to save their time and effort. The Municipality’s strategic plans always take into consideration providing all customer needs in a relaxed and hassle-free manner. It uses edge-cutting technologies and techniques to reflect the civilised appearance of Abu Dhabi city and its global standing in terms of delivering best-in-class services to customers wherever they are.
The Municipality offers specialised services to the elderly and People of Determination to save them the pains of visiting the Municipality’s premises. It deploys vehicles to provide mobile services to them at their residences or serve them while sitting in their cars. Running this service stems out of its social responsibility and commitment to ensure customers convenience and bring happiness to all community segments.
The Municipality reiterates that its vision and strategy are based on enhancing the quality of services provided to the public in coordination with its strategic partners in the public and private sectors. The civic body is taking active steps to foster cooperation with partners to offer municipal services through ‘Tas-heel’ offices offering tenancy contract attestation service ‘Tasjeel’. Empost also delivers subsidised food products ordered online or via a smart app for AED 40 anywhere in Abu Dhabi city and environs.
The Municipality works continuously to upgrade customers service, introduce improvements and the latest customer service programs. Such efforts aim to increase customers’ satisfaction and raise the bar on the competitive services in keeping with the development witnessed by the capital Abu Dhabi on all fronts. The smart services aimed to reduce the number of customers visiting customer service centres and accordingly enhance the welfare of citizens and residents.
The customers' service centre, which is dedicated to offering services to customers sitting in their vehicles, opened last May near the Municipality’s Head Office. It has made a quality shift in delivering municipal services edging closer to realising the aspirations of the community. The Centre has a service counter fitted with service windows. The time required to complete the transaction through this Centre equals the same time needed to process the service at the customer service counters at Abu Dhabi City Municipality and external centres.
