3M Gulf inaugurates new state-of-the-art technical facility in Sharjah

With an objective to effectively meet increasing consumer demand across key business units, 3M Gulf, a recognized leader in research and development recently inaugurated its new technical facility at Sharjah International Free Zone (SAIF) in United Arab Emirates.

The state of the art technical center will focus on providing services to partners and end users for automotive aftermarkets, abrasives along with building and commercial services solutions. The newly inaugurated center will also serve as an educational platform for 3M’s customers and end users as training sessions and application demonstrations will be organized to learn more about 3M’s innovative solutions within these three segments.

Commenting on the inauguration of the new facility, Irfan Malik, Area Vice President, 3M Middle East and Africa said, “Providing effective technical know-how and sharing our best practices with our customers in a sustained manner is a key priority for 3M in the Middle East and the opening of our new technical center in Sharjah is a testament of that. Besides providing comprehensive service support, we envision the new facility to serve as a training base for our customers to gain in depth insights about the real benefits that 3M solutions across 46 diverse technology platforms can deliver.”  

With a capacity of accommodating four cars simultaneously, the new center boasts of a fully operational paint boothpart of the 3M Automotive Aftermarket Division besides also featuring latest 3M abrasive solutions.
