3M appoints Managing Director for its growing Gulf operations

In line with its commitment to expand operations and business presence across Middle East and Africa, 3M Gulf has recently announced the appointment of Terrence Zwambila as the Managing Director for its Gulf operations.
In his new role, Terrence will build on his leadership experience and capabilities to bring further growth to 3M’s business in the Gulf region through strong focus on market penetration and geographical expansion. Furthermore, he will also develop and execute strategic business unit specific plans for the Gulf countries, thus ensuring top and bottom line performance and leadership for 3M Gulf across the company’s 46 core technology platforms.
Commenting on the new appointment, Irfan Malik, Area Vice President, Middle East and Africa, said: “The Gulf region is of strategic importance for 3M, and we are committed to introducing the most innovative solutions and products which will meet our customers’ growing demands and needs. Terrence joined 3M in 1997 as Country Manager Sales and Marketing in Zimbabwe and has since then held various leadership positions in the company across South Africa, Middle East Africa and Gulf.
