The new Toyota Innova 2012 made a grand appearance at its introduction to the public at Aziz and Andalus Mall in Jeddah, on 28th September, proudly showing how the Japanese auto giant has given its popular passenger car a major makeover with updates to exterior and interior.

“The new enhancements to 2012 model are designed to guarantee an even better driving experience for the entire family,” said Faisal Abdalla, Vice President at Abdul Latif Jameel (ALJ). “To share the joy of Toyota, the Innova 2012 will tour the Kingdom with pit stops in Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam, featuring test drives at various malls accompanied by fun activities with giveaways and prizes to be won by Toyota lovers and their families.”

The exterior of the new Innova has been a given a fresh new look with visible changes to the chin and rear of the car. The previous upright grill is now set more vertically while the fenders have new headlights stretched across. Additional features to the Innova 2012 XL will include fog lights – which are also effective in a sandstorm - and side view mirrors with integrated turn signal lights (TSL).

The car’s main focus is an updated interior including new premium materials used for the stylish wood dashboard, a new instruments panel with multi-information display, and enhanced features such as auto A/C. All models are equipped with an MP3 compatible CD player as well as USB and AUX inputs. A top priority for Toyota is better space utilization, especially the car’s third row seats, which offers more space and comfort during long journeys.

The Innova 2012 will be on show at Aziz and Andalus Mall in Jeddah until 30th September, then available for tests drives in Riyadh at Khurais Mall and Azizia Mall from 5th to 7th October, followed by Rashed Mall and Dhahran Mall in Khobar from 12th to 14th October.
