October 1, 2003, will see the launch of Policy magazine, the industry-specific publication focusing on the evolving Middle East insurance market. This monthly, which will be distributed in 11 Middle East countries to a database of 7,500, aims to become the voice of the Middle East Insurance industry.
Reaching the three major sectors within the market, insurance and reinsurance companies, brokers and intermediaries and buyers and corporate risk managers, the magazine will provide news, in-depth analysis, regional market reports, international market features, rules and regulations, profiles and industry comment.
”The insurance market in the Middle East is growing and changing rapidly,” said Ian Donabie, Policy editor. “Although, in comparison to other parts of the world, this market is relatively small, the scope for progression is huge and we very much want to be at the heart of this.”
“Our research over the past six months has been extensive and we have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback that we have received from those involved in the insurance industry. It is clear that a specialized financial sector like insurance needs its own platform and Policy will provide that.”
To assist Policy in guiding the title towards the most topical and relevant events in the market the magazine has also put together an advisory committee. Made up of eight respected figures in the insurance sector throughout the Middle East, the committee will also produce industry comment, giving readers a perspective from those who are directly at the heart of this changing market.
”We want POLICY to be the first place companies and individuals turn to find out what is going on and what is currently affecting the market and if we continue to receive the kind of support that we already have, the magazine will be a huge success,” said Donabie. – (menareport.com)
