Paradigm Geophysical Ltd. announced the handover of the largest computer center in India to Oil and Natural Gas Company of India (ONGC).

The inauguration ceremony took place in Dehradun, Northern India, recently, marking the completion of a $10 million turnkey project awarded to Paradigm in January 1999. The project revenues were recorded in Q1-1999 through Q4-2000.

This new system is based on the latest software solutions from Paradigm and includes hardware components from Silicon Graphics and IBM.

The system was installed in Dehradun in the foothills of the Himalayas.

With this system, ONGC -- India's national oil company, and the largest oil and gas exploration and production company in India -- will be able to add value to its current oil and gas reserves.

Using the new system ONGC experts have already identified a new prospect in one of its existing fields.
