Dubai Techno Park, set up by the Government of Dubai as a world-class industrial complex in Jebel Ali and managed by Dubai Ports, Customs and Free Zone, hosted the groundbreaking ceremony of Pacific Controls Systems, the global engineering services provider. The new facility will be spread across 200,000 square feet within Techno Park, with a total investment of Dh 50 million that will be made over the next three years. This will also serve as the new regional headquarters of the company.
The groundbreaking ceremony was performed by Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman of Dubai Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation and Techno Park. Also present at the ceremony were Abdullah Ahmed Al Qurashi, Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Techno Park and Dilip Rahulan, Chairman and CEO, Pacific Controls Systems.

Pacific Controls’ move to set up operations in Dubai Techno Park, further reinforces the benefits and quality of infrastructure available at the development. We are certain that the company will fully benefit from the various facilities at the Park, and moreover, the spate of expansion activities in the region will create an extended market for their high quality products.”
Welcoming the development, Abdullah Ahmed Al Qurashi said, “This is another world-class addition to the Techno Park. Pacific Controls will present a new dimension to our portfolio, adding value to our overall image. We will offer all the required assistance to the company in establishing its operations here.”

“Setting up operations at the Techno Park is a strategically significant move for us, especially because this is going to be our regional headquarters. Dubai Techno Park is renowned for its infrastructure facilities and support services. Besides, the minimal administrative procedures at the Park and the strategic location of Dubai have also prompted us to establish our presence here,” remarked Dilip Rahulan.
“Our new facility will be the first green building in Dubai, with solar air conditioning and solar lighting. Pacific Controls, a global leader in automation technology, will be using a systems engineering approach to produce a scale that uses 40 per cent less energy.
