Oman's Rees Oil and Gas Services, in conjunction with their principals Solas Marine Services of Dubai, has been awarded the Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) contract for Multi User H2S Life Support Systems and Services.
Rees Oil & Gas Services is jointly owned by the Omzest and Al-Anwar Groups of companies. The three year contract entails provision of Multi User H2S Life Support Systems, detection and monitoring equipment, warning systems, related personnel and other ancillary services to work on various well locations in the Sultanate of Oman, according to a press release.
Solas was established in 1988 to serve fields of fire fighting, life saving and survival, fire and gas detection, air cascade system supply, installation, maintenance and rentals for the marine offshore and oil industries in the Gulf. The company has service station facilities in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Fujairah. — (menareport.com)
