ALBAWABA - Nvidia Corporation, the American multinational corporation and technology company, revealed its new RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 graphics processing unit (GPUs), a specialized electronic circuit initially designed for digital image processing and to accelerate computer graphics.

The giant tech finally unveiled its gen GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards for PCs and laptops at CES 2025, the annual consumer tech conference held in Las Vegas.
Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, announced the launch of four new graphics cards, including: RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070.
Notably, all graphics cards are built on the Blackwell RTX architecture and are expected to be available by January and February 2025. The new GPUs will range in price from $549 to $1,999.
Experts anticipate that the GeForce RTX 5090 will cost around $1,999, while the RTX 5080 is expected to be priced at approximately $999. The RTX 5070 Ti will be sold for $749, and the RTX 5070 will have a starting price of $549.

According to Nvidia, the new GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs and laptops will deliver a totally game-changing performance, power transformative AI experiences, and enable creators to complete workflows in record time.
It is worth noting that Nvidia’s Blackwell RTX architecture is all about neural rendering as it offers a massive processing power.
“Can you imagine, you have this incredible graphics card, Blackwell, I’m going to shrink it and put it in there,” stated Huang at CES 2025.
Finally, the company said the new GPUs can run large language and image generation models supported by artificial intelligence (AI) from big tech companies including, Meta, Mistral, and Stability AI.
