The Nissan Motor Company has reported that its global production, domestic sales and exports all rose in January compared with the same month a year ago.
"The Middle East, as part of Asia, is contributing to Nissan's global growth as it represents one of the fastest growing auto markets in the world," noted Corporate Communications Manager for Nissan Middle East, Monal Zeidan.
Global production in January climbed 8.9 percent from the same period a year ago to 249,365 units helped by rising output in the US and Europe. Output in Japan, however, fell. Meanwhile, domestic sales rose 6.3 percent to 55,630 units, while exports grew 11.2 percent to 56,930 units. — (menareport.com)
