Al-Watany Bank of Egypt (AWB) has appointed of Ahmed Hassan Koura as vice-chairman and managing director, and Yasser Ismail Hassan as general manager in charge of investments, correspondent banking, and financing of the bank.
AWB has selected those senior executives to steer the bank in the challenging market conditions faced by the banking sector. AWB chairman, Adel Ezzy announced that the decision to appoint those executives was based on their experience and previous involvement with the bank. Their integration with bank operations and employees is expected to be fast and effective.
These appointments are in the framework of AWB's strategy to promote its businesses, and diversify its sources of revenue through developing branch network and expanding retail and corporate banking services. — (menareport.com)
