The new application, named ‘Death Clock,’ was launched in July 2024. Fully powered by artificial intelligence (AI), the application aims to provide a somewhat accurate estimation of each person's death date, based on real scientific data and studies.

Death Clock can access data from over 53 million people and 1,200 life expectancy studies. The application also focuses on details provided by users, including diet, fitness, sleep habits, mental health, and social engagement activities, to predict how long each user will live, according to Bloomberg.

Brent Franson, the developer who launched Death Clock, stated that the application uses reliable statistics and data, along with the details provided by each user, making it more advanced than typical death tables.

The application takes into account multiple factors before predicting a user's death date. Some of these factors include financial status, future plans, financial behaviors, and psychological conditions.

It is worth noting that the application was downloaded and used by over 125,000 users since its launch in July, according to Sensor Tower.

Users are recommending the application as it provides advice on how to improve lifestyle and extend the lives of its users, with an annual subscription of $40.
