The inauguration of a new United Arab Emirates (UAE) academic institution was announced this week. The Abu Dhabi University will open at the beginning of the academic year 2003-2004 in both the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the city of Al-Ain.

“The best investment of money is in the field of creating generations of cultured and educated people,” stated UAE President Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan. “We are meeting here today to make this quotation true for we believe fully that building man is a national urgent necessity leading to the development of the society and build up of generations.

“Our slogan is distinction in performance and openness to the outer world as well as a consistent contact with the most famous and prominent universities and research world centers,” he added.

One of the min conditions in the Abu Dhabi University is the mastering of the English Language. Students should have full control of this language and should know how to use it to suit its use as a medium of teaching in the faculties, sections and specializations they wish to join.

Students attending this Institute shall be allowed to enroll in different courses required by the university. This elasticity shall shorten the period of time needed to get the degree. — (menareport.com)
