ALBAWABA - Japan released a new currency after 20 years of using the same old currency which was first showcased in 2004.

The new currency is outstanding as it features the three-dimensional (3D) technique; featuring photos of founders of women's financial and educational institutions to prevent fraud.

What is unique about the new currency as per the announcement by Japan National Printing Bureau is the use of the 3D technique that changes based on viewer’s angles, which is known to be the first of its kind in the world!

Japan is happy to release the new currency and to highlight the names of those who represent Japanese capitalism, women's empowerment, and technological innovation on its new currency notes, as stated by Prime Minster Fumio Kishida.

It is worth mentioning that the Japanese economy is recently undergoing great developments and recoveries for the first time in 3 decades.
