The Middle East e-retail site Hadaiya.com, a venture between Jashanmal & Sons and American Express Middle East, has received almost 120,000 hits in the first 15 days of operation.

“Thanks to competitive shipping rates from Hadaiya.com’s key delivery alliance, DHL, the cost to the consumer is lower than the world market leaders in online book and DVD sales. These consumer categories make up the vast majority of online purchases around the world,“ the site’s Managing Director Bharat Jashanmal claimed.

Jashanmal said: “We have made an exclusive arrangement for the 17 countries that fall under the American Express Middle East and North Africa banner which applies to all shipments, whether they originate from the USA, UK or India.”

“In the niche market of online book sales, the combined total of book and delivery is less than the most successful online book sites in the world,” explained Jashanmal.

Jashanmal & Sons, headquartered in Bahrain, was one of the region's first retail and distribution companies. American Express Middle East (AEME) is a joint venture company owned by Mawarid Investment Limited and American Express. Operating in 19 markets, AEME issues credit, charge and co-brand cards. — (menareport.com)
